Artificial intelligence has been changing the field of medicine dramatically in recent years, whether it is the interpretation of data from smart sensors or the analysis of large health databases. This area will also be the common thread of the research project of a young researcher. In the research group, we have been working on a number of projects in recent years, in which we have studied the use of smart sensors to monitor patients with chronic diseases, such as chronic heart failure, on the one hand, and on the other hand, we are working on the analysis of large multi-modal databases with advanced methods. We are also developing systems to assist nurses and nursing staff. You can find some recent publications at the following links:

We are looking for a candidate with a completed MSc degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrotechnics, or related programs, with a good knowledge of programming, and who is interested in working in a highly interdisciplinary research team. The candidate is expected to have completed their MSc thesis by September 2026, with the average grade of at least 8 (out of 10) or equivalent.
