Prof. Dr. Nejc Košnik

Nejc Košnik obtained his PhD at University of Ljubljana in 2010. His research is focused on flavor physics, CP-violating observables at colliders, leptoquark physics, grand unified theories and related phenomenology. His current interests include the role of flavor symmetry and its breaking on patterns of fermion masses and on conservation of lepton and baryon numbers.

Research programme: Theoretical physics of nuclei, particles and fields
Training topic: Global symmetries and flavor symmetries in extensions of the Standard model
